European Association for Cancer Research (EACR)
The European Association for Cancer Research (EACR), established in 1968, is the largest cancer research organisation in Europe with a membership of over 5000.  

European Organisation Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC)
The aims of the European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC) are to develop, conduct, coordinate, and stimulate laboratory and clinical research in Europe to improve the management of cancer and related problems. The organisation was founded in 1962 in order to conduct experimental and clinical research in Europe. The EORTC central office is in Brussels.

Een Europese website met informatie over CAM en kanker
Recent is er op initiatief van de Zwitserse Kankerbestrijding een Europese website gelanceerd waarin overzichten worden gegeven over alles wat met Complementaire en Alternatieve Behandelwijzen (CAM) en kanker in Europa te maken heeft. De website is gefinancierd door de Europese Unie.

International Agency for Reseach on Cancer (IARC)
The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) is part of the World Health Organization. IARC's mission is to coordinate and conduct research on the causes of human cancer, the mechanisms of carcinogenesis, and to develop scientific strategie.

Sinds 2005 worden alle kankermedicijnen door EMEA van een licensie voorzien die geldig is voor alle Europese lidstaten EMEA werkt daarbij samen met patientenorganisaties en de ' European  Cancer Patient Coalition'  (ECPC) Het kan dus heel erg handig zijn om de laatste stand van je medicatie te bekijken
